West Toledo Animal Hospital has many of the same diagnostic tools as human hospitals. X-Rays and an in hospital laboratory provide quick answers. We perform intestinal parasite screens, blood counts, chemistry profiles, urinalysis, cytology, heart-worm tests, tick-borne disease testing and feline retrovirus testing. Our electrocardiogram monitors your pet's heart function, which is important for surgery patients or pets with heart conditions. Our ultrasound unit lets doctors scan the abdomen for pregnancy checks, obstructions or disease.

An endoscope helps our veterinarians accurately diagnose gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders. This long flexible tube has a camera and probe that lets doctors take a biopsy. An endoscope lets veterinarians look at the inner lining of the throat, stomach and intestine, colon or at the respiratory passages without invasive surgery.
